Technical Committees

Recruitment Orientation and Retention (ROAR)

Responsible for recruitment and retention of members.  Maintains an accurate attendance record of each member.

Finance

The Finance Committee is in charge of devising the budget and auditing the Treasurer’s financial records.

Laws and Resolutions

Responsible for reviewing all club bylaws and procedures annually and preparing any amendments considered necessary by the club.

Soroptimist Orientation and Leadership Training (SOLT)

SOLT meetings are held on meeting days when there is a fifth Thursday in the month.  These are member education meetings. Educates club members about Soroptimist and helps to develop each member’s leadership ability.

Social/Public Relations/City Hostess

Responsible for setting up club social activities, working towards favorable public relations for the club, sometimes acting as “hostess” for community events.

In charge of club fundraising.
